What are Climate Control Groups

Climate Control Groups are a simple way to group multiple thermostats together that may reside on the same floor of a building or within a certain area, and allow you to find thermostat information quickly.

Located on the Pelican Web-App home menu, are Groups that contain all of the thermostats sharing that same “Group” name when selected.

Note: If the group name is left blank, or for sites with less than five (5) thermostats, the default menu item shown on the main page will be Climate Control.
  • The thermostats are listed in alphabetical order and display the status of your thermostats.
  • The thermostat’s Climate Control Group name, or the thermostat’s serial number (default) is displayed in bold.
  • Underneath the thermostat’s name is the thermostat’s description in smaller text.
  • The thermostat’s active state is displayed (e.g., Heat Running, Cool Running, Fan Running, etc.), or if the thermostat is in a standby state then the thermostat’s temperature setpoint (e.g., Setting 72°) or System Off is displayed.
  • The real-time temperature, humidity level and/or CO2 level within that thermostat’s space is also displayed.
